Pulse Healthcare is currently seeking a Community Stroke Rehab Occupational Therapist to join our client’s team based in Enfield, Middlesex. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients in their own homes, developing personalised care plans that address their physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic interventions to support daily living activities.
- Suggest home adaptations and recommend assistive equipment.
- Provide vital support to both patients and their families, offering advice on stroke recovery and community resources.
- Help patients reintegrate into their local communities, ensuring they live as independently as possible.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Previous experience in community stroke rehab.
- Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
