The Biomedical Science team at Pulse are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in blood transfusion to work in a busy NHS Hospital in West Yorkshire. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s service.
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
As a Biomedical Scientist in blood transfusion, you will be expected to have an excellent experience in blood typing and cross matching using analysers. Experience issuing blood for transfusions would be preferential and any experience with complex transfusion reactions would also be a plus. You will be experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting the analysers alongside your usual duty in loading and operation.
