The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Andrology to work in Central London. We seek a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s service.
Position Details:
- Role: Biomedical Scientist – Andrology
- Band: 6
- Location: Central London
- Hours: Full-time
- Duration: 3 months
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses in andrology, including semen analysis, sperm function tests, and hormone assays.
- Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory techniques and protocols.
- Ensure quality control and maintain high standards of laboratory safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Contribute to patient consultations and provide expert advice on test results and treatment options.

- Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) (advantageous).
