We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6/7 Locum Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) in Brighton. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized speech and language therapy services to adult inpatients, particularly those with acute stroke conditions. Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate patient records, participating in clinical audits, and contributing to the development of speech and language therapy services.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in providing speech and language therapy services to adults, particularly in acute settings.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for dysphagia and other communication disorders.
  • For Band 7 applicants: Competencies in tracheostomy and FEES.
