The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Specialist Rotational Pharmacist to join our energetic team on the Isle of Wight. We pride ourselves on our strong culture of patient safety and service quality. Our team is committed to leveraging technology to support excellent clinical practice and to free up time for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.
- You will utilize the JAC electronic prescribing and medicines administration (EPMA) system, which has been embedded in our practice for over 10 years.
- You will enhance clinical practice with our fully integrated Omnicell medicines management system.
- You will interface EPMA with pharmacy dispensing, stock control, and clinical area automated medicines cabinetry (Omnicells).
- You will collaborate with the team to further integrate robotics within the Pharmacy department.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- Relevant Pharmacy qualification.
- Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Experience in aseptic preparation or chemotherapy screening (verification).
- Prior NHS experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with EPMA and Omnicell systems is an advantage.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
- Experience in data analysis or a related field.
