Working hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00am – 17:00pm

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our client\’s team in Doncaster. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential pharmaceutical services to our community. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications.

Responsibilities

Preparing and dispensing medications

Managing stock levels

Maintaining accurate records

Working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals

Providing advice on medication usage

Assisting in training junior staff

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

Involvement in aseptic preparation and ACT duties to ensure medication safety and accuracy

Qualifications and Experience

NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent

Registration with the GPHC

Experience in hospital or community pharmacy setting

Experience with aseptic techniques and ACT duties

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of patient care
