The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Managing and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
- Providing excellent customer service and patient care.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
- Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
