Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician ACPTBanding: Band 4Location: CarshaltonStart Date: ASAPDuration: OngoingRate: £15 – £17 per hourWorking hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 34 hours per weekThe Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join our Outpatient Dispensary team. The successful candidate will work closely with various service leads across the pharmacy departments.Duties and Responsibilities:You will dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently. You will counsel patients on the correct use of their medications. You will manage stock control and maintenance.Qualifications and Experience:Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification is desirable.Minimum of 2 years\’ post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.

Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
