Job Title: Associate Practitioner – Histology Banding: Band 4 Location: Guildford, Surrey Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £14-16 Working Hours: Core Hours We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Histology Associate Practitioner to join our esteemed client in Guildford. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of histological services, which are critical for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will conduct a broad spectrum of histology tasks, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot histology equipment, and ensure strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will analyse and interpret complex histological data with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications in Histology. HCPC registration. Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or a related field. Extensive experience in histology services.
