Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician (Willing to Train as ACT)Banding: Band 4/5Location: SheffieldStart Date: ASAPDuration: OngoingRate: £15 – £22 per hourWorking hours: Full-timeAbout the role:The Pharmacy team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 4 Pharmacy Technician who is willing to train as an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) or for a Band 5 ACT Pharmacy Technician.Duties and Responsibilities:You will be dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients. You will be managing and maintaining accurate records of medications. You will be assisting with the preparation of prescriptions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will be providing advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.Qualifications and Experience:Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.Band 4 Pharmacy Technician: Willingness to train as an ACT.Band 5 ACT Pharmacy Technician: Accredited Checking Technician qualification.

Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
