We're searching for a skilled project manager to join our London office. There you'll deliver a full range of project management services for our clients – from initial briefing through to post-construction – ensuring a consistently high standard of delivery and supporting the ongoing growth of our robust, empowering consultancy.

Reporting to senior project managers and directors, you'll take ownership of multiple projects from initiation to completion. Working as part of an expert team with guidance from senior leadership, you'll ensure every commission is delivered professionally, in line with both the terms of engagement and our internal quality assurance standards. You’ll manage your time efficiently and take ownership of project deliverables, making sure that every commission is delivered to the high standards our clients expect. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to business development by identifying new clients and expanding services for existing and prospective customers.

As part of our growing team, you will be expected to work towards attaining a chartership (APM / CIOB / RICS) alongside your role, with structured support from the business.

Job responsibilities
  • To support Project and Cost Management Commissions, taking responsibility for effectively delivering a range of tasks to high quality standard
  • Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout your projects
  • Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
  • Tracking and documenting changes
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports
  • Acting as an ambassador for Pulse Consult while liaising with clients, contractors and designers
  • Attending business networking events
  • Regularly update company literature
  • Support the management, coordination and preparation of proposals and bids
  • Support commission management, ensuring profitability margins are met and client satisfaction is achieved
  • Deliver support on business development, opening and closing opportunities

About you
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar Project Management role
  • Understanding of the professional service and/or building/property industry (Desirable)
  • Demonstrate ability to create bespoke documentation to a high level
