Salary: Band 5: £27,055 – £32,934 and Band 6: £33,706 – £40,588 p/a + Shift Allowances + £2000 Welcome Bonus!

Role Overview:

As a Theatre Practitioner/nurse specialising in Scrub, you will be working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team both in outpatients and on the ward, to rehabilitate patients and prepare for discharge. Also offering you the opportunity to train in other specialist areas such as orthopaedics and undergo career development courses such as the SFA, all fully funded.

Responsibilities:

  • Scrub for consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, such as orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae and ENT to name a few
  • Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their wellbeing
  • You will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs

Requirements:

  • Current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Experience of working in teams and with minimum supervision
  • ALS and Airway Maintenance certifications would be desirable, though not essential – Training opportunities are available
