The Biomedical Science team at Pulse are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in haematology and blood transfusion to work in a busy NHS Hospital. Cross site cover required (POW, Singleton, Morriston). We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s service.

As a Biomedical Scientist in haematology and blood transfusion you will be expected to have excellent experience in using analysers for full blood counts (FBC) and for coagulation. Having experience in blood film morphology would be preferential but not essential. You will be experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting the analysers alongside your usual duty in loading and operation.

Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:

  • HCPC registered
  • Experience with ANALYSER and EQUIPMENT
  • UK NHS or private sector Haematology laboratory experience
