The Biomedical Science team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Anatomical Pathology Technician to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Surrey. We are looking for an Anatomical Pathology Technician who can make a real difference in supporting the hospital’s mortuary service.
Position: Anatomical Pathology Technician
Banding: 6
Location: Surrey
Hours: 8am – 4pm (with some flexibility)
Duration: Temporary
What will you be doing in this Anatomical Pathology Technician role?
As an Anatomical Pathology Technician, you will be expected to have sufficient previous experience of working within an NHS mortuary setting, particularly experienced in doing body checks and liaising with funeral directors. On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting the senior mortuary staff in the delivery of the service.
