The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Basingstoke. This role is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and offers a competitive hourly rate of £28 – £35. The position is set to start on 16th July 2024 and will last for a duration of 5 months.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and diagnostic tests.
- Interpret and report on test results to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in respiratory care and technology.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Clinical PFT/LFT experience.
- Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS.
Desirable:
- CPAP & Sleep scoring.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
