We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist with expertise in adult psychiatry to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health services in Lingfield, Surrey – the candidate will start on 22/07/2024 for an initial period of 3 months. As a psychiatrist, you will contribute to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adult patients.
- Provide evidence-based treatment and interventions for a range of mental health disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to deliver integrated care.
- Participate in clinical reviews and case conferences to ensure the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health programs and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and completion of specialist training in psychiatry.
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a license to practice.
- Substantial experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist with a focus on adult psychiatry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
- Eligibility for membership with relevant professional bodies.
