Role Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Specialty Training Registrar (StR) Lower in Adult Psychiatry to join our reputable team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations of adult patients presenting with a wide range of mental health disorders.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attendance at training courses, seminars, and conferences, to expand clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Requirements:

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register or be within six months of obtaining Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Psychiatry.
  • Demonstrated commitment to pursuing a career in Adult Psychiatry, with prior experience in psychiatric settings during Foundation Years or Core Psychiatry Training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Strong clinical acumen and decision-making abilities, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
