Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team in London. The Specialty Doctor will play a vital role in providing expert psychiatric care to children and adolescents, contributing to the enhancement of mental health services in London, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations of children and adolescents. Provide specialized psychiatric care, including medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention, to children and adolescents with diverse mental health needs. Lead and participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to review patient progress, discuss treatment strategies, and optimize outcomes. Qualifications: Medical degree from a recognized institution. Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligibility for registration. Completion of specialist training in Psychiatry and eligibility for inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register. Extensive experience and expertise in providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents. Strong clinical skills in conducting psychiatric assessments, crisis management, and risk assessments.
