The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Physiologist to join our team. As a Band 6 Respiratory Physiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients. This is a full-time position with an immediate start and offers a competitive hourly rate of £28 – £35.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will perform lung function tests independently and work collaboratively within the respiratory physiology department.
- You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records and ensure compliance with relevant clinical guidelines and standards.
- Additionally, you will participate in continuous professional development (CPD) activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- BSc in Healthcare Science (Respiratory & Sleep).
- Evidence of CPD.
- Experience working in a respiratory physiology department.
- Ability to perform lung function tests without supervision.
Desirable:
- ARTP Practitioner Qualification.
- Registration with the AHCS.
- Experience in providing mentorship or support to trainees/junior colleagues.
- Experience with other respiratory physiology investigations.
