Pulse is recruiting for a Registered Psychologist to join an established multidisciplinary therapeutic service supporting children, young people and vulnerable adults across the Greater Manchester and North West region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Forensic Psychologistlooking to work within a supportive and progressive organisation committed to delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes.
You will support individuals presenting with a range of complex needs, including trauma, attachment difficulties, harmful sexual behaviour (HSB), autism spectrum conditions (ASC/ASD), mental health difficulties and forensic presentations.

Responsibilities
As a Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based psychological support and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people with complex needs.
Your responsibilities will include
- Undertaking psychological and clinical assessments.
- Developing and delivering tailored intervention and treatment plans.
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Completing behavioural and risk assessments and contributing to risk management planning.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Supporting psychologically informed practice across services.
- Delivering consultation, guidance and training to care and education professionals.
- Building effective relationships with families, local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Attending and contributing to professional meetings and reviews.
- Supporting the development and implementation of therapeutic approaches and best practice across services.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements
- Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
• Experience working with one or more of the following
- Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attachment difficulties and developmental trauma
- Mental health difficulties
- Forensic or complex presentations
Desirable Experience
- Experience within residential care, education or specialist therapeutic services.
- Knowledge or experience of approaches such as CBT, DBT, DDP, Systemic Psychotherapy, EMDR or Person-Centred Therapy.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
