Pulse are looking for registered highly motivated and talented Band 5 & 6 Paediatric Intensive Care Nurses to join a well-renowned agency. With Pulse, you can plan ahead with our block bookings, available to book up to 3 months in advance. We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in the Tooting area paying between £25.00- £33.50 per hour.

Registered Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse Responsibilities:
  • Actively communicate with the patient’s family and loved ones. Communicating assertively with family members to reassure them and provide information about what is happening with the patients is essential.
  • PICU nurses have the primary responsibility of assessing, treating, and monitoring young patients under 18 years old who are presenting acute, serious ailments.
  • PICU nurses must record patient information concisely and accurately because every symptom matters.
  • Paediatric intensive care nurses also answer questions and provide education for caregivers about managing their child’s health condition.
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
  • Valid NMC registration
  • At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Scrub Sector
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.
  • Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
  • Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
