Pulse Nursing are looking for Paediatric Accident and Emergency (A&E) Nurses in the Oxford area. We believe great things begin with great people. Come and join our exceptional Paediatric Team at Pulse Nursing and make a real difference to patients in Oxford.
You will be required to support the Paediatric Emergency Department by providing a high standard of care for each individual child, support their families and assess their care needs. Pulse Nursing are offering flexible shifts in Oxford with escalated rates between £28.50 – £44.38 per hour, with a range of shifts available including long days, earlies, lates, nights and twilights.
Paediatric A&E Nurse responsibilities include:
- Assess, evaluate, implement and review patients, ranging from 0-18 years old, in a fast paced environment
- Triaging patients upon their arrival into A&E
- Wound care (suturing and gluing)
- Communicating with doctors and relevant healthcare professionals
- Using your skills to give high levels of care, whilst learning new skills
- Working as a team to provide a safe level of care
Paediatric Nurse Role Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a Paediatric A&E setting
- To meet the compliance requirements of both the NHS and private sector
- Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
