Job Description:

Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s leading providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to educational and residential teams working with children.

Main responsibilities:

• Implement individual, group, or consultation-based therapy approaches
• Develop therapy programs for classroom and individual use
• Collaborate with school staff to integrate occupational therapy into the curriculum
• Support students in learning and consolidating functional skills
• Work within a multidisciplinary team, including Speech and Language and Wellbeing therapists
• Refer parents to NHS and Social Services Occupational Therapy services as appropriate

Candidate requirements:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions for children with complex needs
• Ability to support teams in creating supportive environments for children and young people
• Confident, engaging, and capable of leading and training others
• Highly organized and proactive
• Dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for young people
