Pulse Nursing Team is currently recruiting for experienced Nursing Service Delivery Leads to join the team for a role based in the Wearside / North East of England area. These roles will be working locally in the Wearside / North East of England area, providing nursing delivery services for a Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research Project. To be successful in this role, you MUST have experience in a similar role and be proficient as a phlebotomist. This is an established programme that is looking for new candidates as it moves into its next phase.
Location: Wearside / North East of England
Hours: 2-3 days per week, shift patterns vary
Duration: Ongoing
Essential Skills:- An experienced nurse who has led nurses in a similar environment
- Proof of phlebotomy, as you will be overseeing these services
We are looking for experienced nurses who can work at least 2-3 days per week in a 7-day service. These will be long days working between 7:45 am β 6:15 pm, Saturdays 8:45 am β 5:15 pm, with Sunday hours being 10:30 am β 4:00 pm. This position is available from now. Some of the areas we expect this to include are Sunderland, Darlington, Hartlepool, Bishop Auckland, and Northallerton. We will also have other mobile areas in the North East and a fixed site in Newcastle. These will be mobile sites that move around on a regular basis every 4-5 weeks, so it would be very beneficial if you are able to drive and work at different sites. These positions are available now, and the pay rate for this role will be up to Β£33 per hour (umbrella rate). There are enhanced rates for weekend work.
Main Responsibilities:- Responsible for the provision of clinical leadership to Healthcare Support Workers
- Focus on the day-to-day delivery of excellence in quality care provision, ensuring all clinical governance and compliance targets are met, and services are safe and delivered seamlessly
- Supernumerary role, which can provide additional support for HSW breaks
- Responsible for staff attendance and scheduling
- Reports directly to the Chief Nurse
- First point of escalation for operational queries
- You must be an experienced nurse.
- You must be willing to fully register with our agency.
