Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s leading providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced MRI/CT Radiographer to support the clinical leadership of the service. The position is based in London, easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As an MRI/CT Radiographer, you will work in clinical and service development capacities to ensure patient services are planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and maintain a robust service.

Your main responsibilities:
- Assess clinical justification of radiography referrals and act as an operator under IRMER (2000)
- Advise imaging referrers and patients regarding referrals
- Acquire diagnostic images and position patients appropriately
- Operate advanced radiological software and equipment
- Coordinate workflow within the department
- Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism
- Participate in CPD programs
- Review images and liaise with radiologists for additional imaging needs
- Be familiar with technical applications on imaging equipment
- Perform intravenous cannulation and contrast injections upon training and competency
- Coordinate with other hospital departments and external sources
- Adapt to changes in service, patients, or departmental needs
- Troubleshoot equipment faults and manage service continuity
Candidate requirements:
- Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc Hons
- Evidence of CPD
- Certificate of Competence in CT/MRI
- Current HCPC registration
- Radiation Protection Certificate
- Decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Presentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
