MRI/ CT Radiographer

We are currently seeking an experienced MRI/CT Radiographer to support the clinical leadership of the service. The position is based in London, easily accessible via public transport. About the role: As an MRI/CT Radiographer, you will work in clinical and service development capacities to ensure patient services are planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and maintain a robust service. What’s in it for you: Private healthcare scheme worth up to £20,000 per year 27 days annual leave Blue Light Card discounts Interest-free season ticket loans Cycle to work scheme Free eye check-up vouchers with contribution towards lenses Free newspaper and media subscriptions Local business discounts Discount in our hospice charity shop Refer a Friend scheme Free Cinema Society membership with discounted tickets Personal development and training courses Annual events and recognition awards Career progression and increments Continuation of NHS pension for NHS employees Your main responsibilities: Assess clinical justification of radiography referrals and act as an operator under IRMER (2000) Advise imaging referrers and patients regarding referrals Acquire diagnostic images and position patients appropriately Operate advanced radiological software and equipment Coordinate workflow within the department Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism Participate in CPD programs Review images and liaise with radiologists for additional imaging needs Be familiar with technical applications on imaging equipment Perform intravenous cannulation and contrast injections upon training and competency Coordinate with other hospital departments and external sources Adapt to changes in service, patients, or departmental needs Troubleshoot equipment faults and manage service continuity Candidate requirements: Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc Hons Evidence of CPD Certificate of Competence in CT/MRI Current HCPC registration Radiation Protection Certificate Decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and accurately Presentation skills Self-motivated and able to motivate others Why work with Pulse?
