Pulse is recruiting experienced Service Delivery Leads for the North East Scotland Area. The role supports the UK’s largest health research programme, Our Future Health, which gathers physical measurements, blood samples and lifestyle data to aid disease prevention, early detection and treatment.
Shift Pattern
The shifts are flexible. You can work from 1 to 2 shifts a week up to full time with the following options:
- Monday to Friday 8:15am – 4:45pm
- Saturday 8:45am – 4:15pm
- Sunday 10:45am to 4:05pm
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to Healthcare Assistants and Phlebotomists, ensuring day‑to‑day excellence in quality care provision.
- Ensure all clinical governance and compliance targets are met, with safety and seamless delivery.
- Support staff attendance and scheduling, and act as first point of escalation for operational queries.
- Observe and learn how the service operates at other sites, gaining understanding of the site process and participant flow to embed consistent patient experience and workplace culture.

Qualifications and Experience
- A Phlebotomy Certificate
- Valid PVG certificate for all candidates in Scotland
- Minimum of one year’s active experience drawing blood.
- Service Delivery Lead experience (desirable, not required)
- Immediate holder of the Right to Work in the UK
