We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Band 8b Clinical Psychologist with CAMHS expertise to join our reputable team in Blackpool, Lancashire to start immediately, working part-time hours for an initial period of 6 months. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses for individuals within the CAMHS spectrum.
- Develop and implement individualized and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of mental health concerns.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Provide consultation and guidance to junior mental health professionals and contribute to the ongoing professional development of the team.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in clinical psychology and CAMHS, incorporating best practices into daily clinical work.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with relevant professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Doctoral-level qualification in Clinical Psychology and current registration with the relevant professional body (HCPC).
- Extensive experience as a Band 8b Clinical Psychologist with a focus on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
- Proven expertise in conducting complex psychological assessments and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a track record of staying informed about the latest research and advancements in CAMHS.
