Responsibilities
- Performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
- Working closely with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining and operating imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and participating in continuous professional development.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Relevant degree or equivalent in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably at Band 7 level.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient care and safety.
- Up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software.
