An excellent opportunity is available for a Band 6 CT/Fluoroscopy Radiographer to join a dedicated imaging team in East London. This position is ideal for a radiographer with strong CT experience who is confident working independently and committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic services. CT, Fluoroscopy and General X-Ray experience would be desirable.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the care and diagnosis of the client’s patients in a busy and well-equipped department.
Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of CT examinations with precision and care, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Preparing and positioning patients.
- Operating CT equipment in line with clinical protocols.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Effective communication with patients and colleagues.
- Commitment to high standards of care and adherence to all safety and quality assurance procedures.
- Flexibility to work long shifts to meet service demands.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
- Significant experience in CT imaging, ideally at Band 6 level; Fluoroscopy and General X-Ray would be desirable.
- Strong understanding of CT protocols and radiation safety.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexible approach to working long shifts.
