Lead Radiotherapist Band 8a – Birmingham – Start: ASAP – Duration: Ongoing contract – Rate: Β£35-36 per hour – Working hours: Monday – Friday, 0900‑1700.

Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated band 8a radiotherapy professional to join our team in Birmingham.

This role involves delivering exceptional radiotherapy services with Elekta experience.

The successful candidate will be integral to the radiotherapy department, ensuring the highest standards of care and precision in treatment delivery.

Responsibilities The Band 8a Radiotherapy Lead professional will be responsible for planning and delivering radiotherapy treatments, ensuring accurate dose delivery and patient safety.

Duties include operating and maintaining Elekta equipment, collaborating with oncologists and other healthcare professionals, and adhering to radiation safety protocols.

The role also involves patient preparation, monitoring during treatment, and maintaining detailed records of all procedures.

Qualifications and Experience Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent HCPC registration Experience with Elekta Strong understanding of radiation safety principles Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively How to apply?
