Pulse have recently partnered with one of the UKβs specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist (Surgery), who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Lincoln, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As an Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice.

Your main responsibilities as an Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist:
- Provide specialist clinical pharmacist support to a designated Speciality and support to other wards and departments as appropriate.
- Provide pharmaceutical advice and financial information to nursing, medical and administrative staff for the Medical Directorate.
- Manage and supervise the work of pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists and technicians working for the Medical Directorate.
- Work with the Pharmacy Education and Training Team in developing and delivering clinical training programmes on medicines in Medicine.
- Provide professional support for Medicines Information as required.
- Provide professional supervision in the Dispensary as required.
What we are looking for in an Advanced Lead Clinical Pharmacist:
- Pharmacy degree (Master/Bachelor).
- Registration as a Pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Medicines Management experience gained in a Hospital environment.
- Some Supervisory experience.
- Prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake training to achieve prescribing qualification.
