We seek a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust team. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your primary focus will be on obstetric scans, ensuring accurate and detailed assessments.

Position: Sonographer

Banding: 7

Location: East Midlands

Hours: 08:00 – 18:00

Rate: £55.00P/H

Days: Monday to Friday

Duration: Ongoing

Responsibilities:

  • Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect any abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
  • Certification in Obstetric Ultrasound.
  • Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
