The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a committed and skilled Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join us in Grimsby for a 3-month period. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £19 – £22 and presents a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct medication reviews and provide advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a safe and effective service.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- ACT qualification is essential.
- Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician.
- Recent experience working in Aseptics is essential for this role.
Desirable:
- Minimum of 6 months hospital experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Labelling and dispensing experience and knowledge of JAC computer system.
- Experience of undertaking role of Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting (Drug taking histories, Patients own drug assessment, ordering, counselling).
