Pulse Nursing are delighted to be offering a variety of shifts within A&E Departments in the Grimsby area. A&E Nurses will deliver treatments to patients with injuries and serious illnesses in a busy and demanding A&E setting. No shift in this A&E department is ever the same; you will face many different case types whilst providing an invaluable service to individuals in a critical time of need.
Pulse Nursing are offering a number of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams. Rates for the A&E Nurse are between £31.00 to £35.05.
A&E Nurse responsibilities include:
- Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
- Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
- Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
- Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
- Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients requiring fluids and medications.
- Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.
A&E Nurse role Requirements:
- NMC Registration 6 months.
- 6 months experience in A&E in the last 12 months - able to provide 2 references for verification covering the last 3 years of work.
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV.
- Right to work within the UK – Documented proof will be required.
