Job Title: Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Grade: Consultant Location: Hull, Yorkshire Working Hours: 40 hours per week Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Hull, Yorkshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start. Responsibilities This role is based within inpatient settings, including a General Adolescent Unit and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Key responsibilities include delivering high‑quality psychiatric care to young people, conducting comprehensive assessments, and formulating individualized treatment plans. The successful candidate must hold Section 12 approval and be an Approved Clinician. You will be expected to act as the Responsible Clinician (RC), participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
