The private hospital in Tunbridge is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Nurse to join a dynamic and forward-thinking nursing team – working as part of the Surgical Nursing team. Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead and coordinate on a daily basis
- Support the nursing team and students
- Competent to make safe discharge decisions, working with the consultants team
- Carry out individualised nursing care and procedures to the highest standards
- Carry out any other duties delegated by the Ward Manager or team leader for the proper and efficient care of the patients and the smooth running of the department
The Senior Nurse must have:
- A Registered Nurse with an NMC registration
- Have a minimum of 1-year senior nursing experience
- Ward experience is desirable
- Strong leadership skills
- Good teamwork ethic
