Pulse Nursing are offering a range of Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse roles in Telford. Are you looking to join our exceptional Intensive Care Team at Pulse Nursing and make a real difference to patients in Telford?
Pulse needs more nurses that will provide urgent and critical care for these vulnerable adults around the clock. This role is fast pace, yet extremely rewarding and allows you to be part of a patients journey to recovery.
Pulse Nursing are offering flexible shifts with rates between £26.15 and £40.32
Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse responsibilities includes:
- Plan, implement and evaluate care
- Assist patients with their activities of daily living
- Regular assessment and monitoring of patient’s vital signs
- Perform different types of observations and use of different monitoring systems
- Use and ensure working function of varied medical equipment such as ventilators, infusions pumps, feeding pumps, monitors
- Care for patient receiving invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Recognize patient deterioration and timely escalation of care
- Communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives
- Work as part of a team
- Make appropriate referrals and Prepare patient for discharge or transfer
- Keep accurate and timely patient records and follow local policies and procedures
Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse Role Requirements:
- NMC Registration 6 months
- Minimum of 6 months experience in an Intensive Care (ITU) Nurse setting
- To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV
- Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
