Pulse Healthcare is presently looking for an innovative and dynamic Histopathology Consultant to join our esteemed trust in the South East. In this position, you will collaborate with a dedicated team within a highly respected Histopathology department.
We offer competitive hourly rates and flexibility, allowing you to work from home as necessary, in line with the current trend of one day per week remote work for most consultants. To be eligible, candidates should possess full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or be eligible for registration within six months of the interview. UK-trained applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of CCT award by the interview date.
For non-UK trained candidates, a demonstration of equivalence to the UK CCT is required. The department’s workload primarily involves breast, colorectal, and urological pathology, making an interest in one or more of these areas desirable. Additionally, generalist reporting skills and the ability to provide cross-cover for multidisciplinary team meetings are crucial for this role.
