Pulse Nursing are delighted to be offering a variety of shifts within A&E Departments in the Hampshire area. A&E Nurses will deliver treatments to patients with injuries and serious illnesses in a busy and demanding A&E setting. No shift in this A&E department is ever the same; you will face many different case types whilst providing an invaluable service to individuals in a critical time of need.

Pulse Nursing are offering a number of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams. Rates for the A&E Nurse are between £25.00 to £36.18 PH.

A&E Nurse responsibilities include:

  • Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
  • Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
  • Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
  • Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients requiring fluids and medications.
  • Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.

A&E Nurse role Requirements:

  • NMC Registration 6 months.
  • 6 months experience in A&E in the last 12 months - able to provide 2 references for verification covering the last 3 years of work.
  • To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health and Updated CV.
  • Right to work within the UK – Documented proof will be required.
