About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Colchester. In this role, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of pharmacy services. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £19 – £22. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications and managing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of prescriptions.
- Providing support to the pharmacy team and assisting with patient queries.
- Maintaining and updating patient records using SystemOne.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- GPhC registered.
- ACT Accredited.
- Experience in a supervisory role within a pharmacy setting.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems.
Desirable:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Labelling and dispensing experience and knowledge of JAC computer system.
- Experience of undertaking role of Medicines.
- Experience using Evolve, Ascribe/Emiss, Outlook and SystemOne.
