Pulse are currently seeking a determined band 8a Senior Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Adult Community Mental Health team, within a fantastic NHS trust based in Essex. This position will be available for the appointed Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible, working full-time hours for an on-going period. As this is a band 8a position, our client will also welcome Newly Qualified Psychologists as well as experienced candidates.

The post holder will be required to provide psychological assessments of clients referred to Community Adult Mental Health services based upon the appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuro-psychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client’s care. Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in adult mental health
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
