Job Overview
Pulse is seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to provide specialist support across two school sites in Morden, Surrey. This role involves working with children with a range of communication needs and disabilities, delivering both dysphagia and early‑years communication interventions within a school environment.
You will complete independent assessments, contribute to EHCP processes, and support children with complex communication profiles, including those using AAC and communication devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete independent dysphagia assessments for children within a school setting
- Conduct early‑years communication assessments and deliver targeted provision
- Lead and contribute to EHCP reviews
- Provide intervention for children with a range of communication needs and disabilities
- Support pupils using communication aids and devices, particularly in early years
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist
- Paediatric dysphagia training/experience (essential)
- Experience with AAC/communication aids, especially early years
- Experience working with children with disabilitiesConfident working independently across school environments
