The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Advanced Clinical Pharmacist in Milton Keynes. The successful Pharmacist will be required to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:30pm. This role is available to start ASAP.

Position: Senior Clinical Pharmacist

Banding: 8a

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Full-time

Payrate: £34.00 – £39.00 / h

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Essential Skills:

  • GPHC registration.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience.
  • Experience of supervising / mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Relevant Pharmacy qualification.
  • 2 Years NHS experience.
  • Ward based Clinical Pharmacy skills.
  • 5 years hospital pharmacy experience.

Duties:

  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead and develop relevant clinical / pharmaceutical audit and research.
  • Managing and supervising the duties of Pharmacists, Pre-registration Pharmacists, and ward support technicians.
  • Work flexibly across 7-day Rota.
