We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry to work part-time for our NHS client based in Dundee, Scotland. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Providing specialist psychiatric care within learning disabilities services, including inpatient units, community mental health teams (CMHT), and other community-based settings.
- Conducting assessments and formulating treatment plans.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Managing complex cases and participating in clinical meetings, documentation, and service development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GMC registration (essential).
- Experience in learning disabilities psychiatry across inpatient and community settings.
- Section 22 approval (essential).
- Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
