We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Hull, Yorkshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- This role is based within inpatient settings, including a General Adolescent Unit and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Delivering high-quality psychiatric care to young people.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating individualized treatment plans.
- Acting as the Responsible Clinician (RC) and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full GMC registration (essential).
- Section 12 approval.
- Approved Clinician status.
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, particularly within inpatient and PICU settings.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
