We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Child and Adolescent CAMHS Psychiatry (CMHT) to work full time hours for our NHS client based in Calmore, Southampton. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short–term contract.
Responsibilities
- Providing expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents with complex mental health issues.
- Leading and overseeing the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
- Managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff and trainees.
- Engaging in regular MDT meetings to discuss patient progress.
- Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full GMC licence to practice.
- Previous experience in CAMHS.
- Section 12/RC approval required.
- Approved clinician status desired.
