The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Warrington. This role is ideal for someone with hospital pharmacy experience, though we are open to considering candidates with other relevant experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Handling and resolving queries from patients and healthcare professionals
- Filing and maintaining accurate records
- Answering telephone calls and providing excellent customer service
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- GPhC registered.
- Up-to-date knowledge of safe systems of working in Pharmacy.
- Hospital experience is essential
- ACT (Accredited Checking Technician) preferred
Desirable:
- Proficiency in weighing, measuring, compounding, and medicine manufacturing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to dispense medicines accurately.
- Standard keyboard skills for using the Pharmacy computer system and other software.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement.
- Excellent customer care skills.
