Locum CAMHS CBT Therapist

Duration: Ongoing (minimum 3 months)
Hours: Monday–Friday full time – part-time considered
Pulse are seeking an experienced CAMHS CBT Therapist to join an established multidisciplinary team on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-regarded private service delivering high-quality psychological support to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions to children and adolescents presenting with a range of mental health difficulties
- Carry out comprehensive clinical assessments and develop formulation-driven treatment plans
- Manage a caseload of CAMHS patients, ensuring safe, effective, and outcome-focused care
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with service and professional standards
Requirements
- Qualified CBT Therapist
- BABCP Accredited or Registered (essential)
- Proven experience working within CAMHS / CYP services
- Strong assessment, formulation, and risk management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
