Pulse is seeking a band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic neuro team based within our NHS trust in London. This position is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours each week for 3 months initially. The post holder will be a member of the Clinical Health Psychology and Neuropsychology department.
The role will include:
- Providing specialist neuropsychological assessments
- Developing individualized biopsychosocial formulations
- Providing direct, evidence-based interventions
- Involvement in the development and provision of group-based interventions (e.g., mindfulness cognitive strategies)
- Offering advice and consultation on psychological and neuropsychological aspects of a person's care to other health professionals
It is essential that the psychologist has previous experience within a neuro environment and is registered with the HCPC to be considered for this role.
This post is responsible for providing high-quality psychology and neuropsychology services, including offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to the carers of service users. Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Team’s policies and procedures.
